CHP San Luis Obispo Area office - Protective Clothing and Operational Supplies Rental Services

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Protective Clothing and Operational Supplies Rental Services for its San Luis Obispo Area office. This initiative aims to ensure that CHP personnel have access to necessary protective clothing and operational supplies, thereby enhancing their safety and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental services for protective clothing and operational supplies as detailed in Exhibit A entitled 'Scope of Work'. This includes uniforms, safety gear, and other operational supplies necessary for CHP personnel. The contractor must ensure that all items meet the required specifications and standards set forth by the CHP.

The agreement will involve sizing and fitting of uniforms for employees during the initial setup phase.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on November 1, 2025, and will run through November 30, 2028. The first month is designated for the transition of services including sizing and fitting of uniforms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the CHP San Luis Obispo Area office located in California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a local city or county business license, have at least three consecutive years of experience in providing protective clothing and operational supplies services within the past five years, and certify their compliance with all terms outlined in the IFB. Corporations must be in good standing to conduct business in California.

Additionally, bidders must provide proof of liability insurance meeting specified requirements before agreement execution.
