CHP San Diego Area office Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services. This contract aims to support the CHP's mission of ensuring safety, service, and security on California's highways.

The CHP intends to award a single agreement to the responsive and responsible firm that offers the lowest bid, open to all eligible firms that meet the qualification requirements.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services as detailed in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work'. This includes towing vehicles for evidence impoundment and providing secure storage for these vehicles until they are released by law enforcement.

The contractor must perform at least 75% of the services themselves, with no more than 25% subcontracted. Bidders must also be a Rotation Tow provider in good standing on the CHP San Diego Area office Tow Service Agreement (TSA) and have no suspensions from the CHP within the past three years.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the agreement is from February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2028. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the San Diego area as specified by the CHP.
