Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services through Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 24C650006. The CHP's mission is to ensure safety, service, and security on California's highways. This contract aims to provide essential towing and storage services for evidence impoundment in the Oceanside area, supporting the CHP's operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services as outlined in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work.' This includes:
- Towing of vehicles to designated impound lots.
- Secure storage of vehicles for evidence purposes.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding evidence handling.
- Timely response to towing requests from CHP personnel.
- Maintenance of accurate records of all vehicles towed and stored.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on June 1, 2025, and will run through May 31, 2027. The term may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.
