CHP Death Valley - Pest Control Services

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Integrated Pest Control Services at the Death Valley Resident Post. This solicitation aims to ensure effective pest management in alignment with CHP's mission to provide safety and service. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid, open to all eligible firms that meet qualification requirements.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Integrated Pest Control Services as detailed in Exhibit A, which includes:

1) Regular inspections of the facility;
2) Identification and treatment of pest infestations;
3) Preventive measures to mitigate future pest issues;
4) Compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.

The contractor must possess necessary licenses including a Structural Pest Control Operator License, Qualified Applicator License (Category A and B), and a Branch 2 License.

Period of Performance
The agreement is anticipated to commence on January 1, 2026, and continue through December 31, 2028. Extensions may occur based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the CHP Death Valley Resident Post located in California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a local or county business license, relevant pest control licenses, and must certify compliance with all terms outlined in the IFB. Corporations must be in good standing in California. The Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirement has been waived for this solicitation.
