Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) 04A7407 for janitorial services in Sonoma County. The goal of this contract is to provide a clean and sanitary work environment at the Caltrans District 04 Bodega Bay Construction Office. This supports the agency's mission to enhance California's economy and livability through an efficient transportation system.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, cleaning supplies, and equipment necessary for janitorial services. Services include:

1. Daily cleaning three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms and kitchens, emptying waste receptacles, and dusting surfaces.

2. Semi-monthly services every other Friday including window cleaning and vacuuming office chairs.

3. Semi-annual services in May and November for shampooing carpets and machine scrubbing tile floors.

4. The contractor will also supply restroom and kitchen paper products as well as light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, which will be reimbursed at cost without markup.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on April 15, 2026, with an estimated expiration date of October 14, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Caltrans District 04 Bodega Bay Construction Office located at 2300 CA-Highway 1, Bodega Bay, CA 94923.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE). They must register with the Labor Commissioner’s Office at the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time of bid submission. Additionally, bidders must comply with Government Code Section 19134 regarding employee wages and benefits.
