Background
The California State Transportation Agency, under the leadership of Governor Gavin Newsom, is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) 03A4112 for parking lot slurry seal coat, parking stall striping, and asphalt and curb repair services in Sacramento County.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and functionality of Caltrans facilities through necessary maintenance and repairs.
Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, supplies, equipment, tools, licenses, permits, travel, fees, and incidentals necessary to perform the following services:
1) Slurry seal application over approximately 90,000 square feet;
2) Replacement of approximately 1190 feet of damaged concrete curbs;
3) Repair and replacement of approximately 1150 square feet of asphalt;
4) Re-striping and painting of 190 parking stalls (3115 linear feet);
5) Re-striping and labeling loading zones, motorcycle parking areas, and seven ADA stalls;
6) Repainting fire lanes and crosswalks;
7) Compliance with all applicable building codes including ADA standards.
Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on June 15, 2026 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans.
The work must be completed by June 14, 2027 (estimate). Services will be performed on weekends from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding State holidays.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Caltrans Regional Transportation Management Center located at 3165 Gold Valley Drive in Rancho Cordova, CA 95742.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as a Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE).
They must possess a valid C-12 license from the California Contractor State License Board (CSLB) and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
Bidders are required to submit various documents including a Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet and a Non-Collusion Declaration. A Payment Bond is required if the bid exceeds $25,000.
