Background
The California Military Department is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 127262 for Power Pole Repairs at Camp San Luis Obispo. The mission of the California Military Department includes ensuring the safety and operational readiness of military facilities. Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary to remove and dispose of specified existing utility poles and install new poles along with associated hardware. All work must comply with applicable California safety and utility standards. The contractor is required to complete all work within 180 calendar days from the start date.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) and possess a valid C-10 Electrical Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board. Bidders must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). A mandatory pre-bid job walk is required on April 8, 2026. All bids must include a bid bond if the amount exceeds $24,999.99 and must comply with various state laws regarding employment practices and civil rights.
