CD9 Community Grant Program

Background
The City of Los Angeles, through the Office of Councilmember Curren D. Price Jr., is seeking a partner to administer the Community Grant Program within Council District Nine (CD9). This initiative aims to support various social services in the district, enhancing community welfare and engagement.

Work Details
The selected partner will be responsible for administering the Community Grant Program, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively to support social services such as youth programming, homeless services and prevention, community beautification, health and wellness programs, public safety initiatives, community education, and immigration assistance.

Grants will range from $5,000 to $100,000. The partner must have experience in serving the South Los Angeles community and providing grant administration services. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the program, providing technical assistance to grantees, executing grant agreements, maintaining records, and accounting for funds.

Period of Performance
The estimated start date for the contract is June 22, 2026, with a term not exceeding two years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within City Council District Nine in Los Angeles.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate experience in serving the South Los Angeles community and providing grant administration services. They should also be able to provide technical assistance to grantees and maintain proper records.

Proposals must include a cover letter detailing business status, qualifications of proposer, cost breakdowns, key personnel information, and references. Additionally, compliance with various ordinances such as the Equal Benefits Ordinance and First Source Hiring Ordinance is required.
