Background
Zone 7 Water Agency is a dependent special district established under the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Act. It is responsible for providing wholesale treated and untreated water, flood control, and groundwater management throughout eastern Alameda County. The agency aims to maintain a high-quality, reliable water delivery system and provide quality services to the community. They are seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide catering services for various meetings and events throughout the year.

Work Details
The contractor will provide catering services that include food preparation, delivery, setup, and cleanup for various events. Specific requirements include:
- A minimum 24-hour advance notice for standard orders.
- Ability to deliver to multiple locations: North Canyons (100 North Canyons Parkway, Livermore, CA), Del Valle (901 E Vineyard Ave, Livermore, CA), and Patterson Pass (8750 Parkside Dr, Livermore, CA) on occasion.
- Flexible ordering to accommodate varying group sizes (4 to 70+ attendees) and event types.
- Provision of disposable or reusable service ware (plates, utensils, napkins, cups) and beverages (coffee, tea, water, juices, soft drinks).
- An online platform for attendees to pre-select individual meals with clear labeling upon delivery.
- Dietary accommodations upon request (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).
- Clear pricing structure including delivery fees and staffing costs.

Recurring catering needs include:
1. Quarterly All Employee Meetings (4 times per year) for approximately 70 attendees with full buffet breakfast service by 8:00 a.m.
2. Monthly Board of Directors Meetings for approximately 20 attendees with dinner service at 5:00 p.m.
3. Various routine meetings ranging from 4 to 30 attendees requiring continental breakfasts or boxed lunches.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to begin on July 1, 2026, and conclude on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Catering services will be performed at multiple locations within eastern Alameda County including North Canyons Parkway in Livermore and Del Valle in Livermore.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must submit required Certificates of Insurance if selected. They must comply with federal, state, and local regulations concerning equal employment opportunity requirements. Bidders must provide copies of current health inspection records and Food Safety certification.
