Cardiology Services

Background
San Bernardino County, on behalf of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC), is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services. The number of awards will be determined by the quality of the proposals received. The contract period will be for a maximum of five years beginning on the date an agreement is approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.

Work Details
ARMC is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a full range of inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, including non-invasive cardiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced practice professionals (APPs) focused on cardiology. The services needed include general cardiology, cardiac catheterization laboratory (Cath Lab), interventional cardiology services, diagnostic and interventional cardiology cath procedures, outpatient and inpatient cardiac diagnostic testing procedures, outpatient clinic staffing, and inpatient care.
The contractor is required to provide 24/7 coverage for inpatient units, outpatient clinics, diagnostic services, Cardiac Cath Lab, and the Emergency Department (ED) of the Medical Center. Additionally, the contractor must ensure that all practitioners are appropriately licensed, privileged, and credentialed at ARMC. Other requirements include providing a Section Director for the Section of Cardiology within the Department of Internal Medicine, participating in a clinically integrated network (CIN), and complying with medical staff bylaw requirements for on-call coverage.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be for a maximum of five years beginning on the date an agreement is approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.

Place of Performance
The services are to be provided at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center located at 400 North Pepper Avenue, Colton, CA and its clinics.
