CANCELLED - EINF90325 RFQ-ITS Physical Security Assessment Services

Background
The State Controller's Office (SCO) is seeking a contractor to provide physical security systems and program consulting services related to the SCO's physical security controls, systems, and applications. The goal of the contract is to enhance SCO's physical security program by evaluating existing controls and providing recommendations aligned with industry standards such as NIST 800-53.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide consulting services that include: evaluating existing physical security controls, systems, and applications; conducting assessments aligned with NIST standards; providing findings and recommendations for improvement; and ensuring all services support a comprehensive physical security assessment.

Services will be performed both remotely and onsite at various SCO facilities located in Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Specific tasks include conducting comprehensive evaluations of physical security controls, scheduling onsite inspections, identifying vulnerabilities, providing risk assessments, and delivering written recommendations for best practices in video retention governance and disaster recovery.

Period of Performance
The term of this agreement will be for one (1) year with the possibility of amendments to extend time or modify scope at SCO's discretion.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must maintain key staff with relevant industry-recognized certifications in IT physical security. At least one key staff member must have a minimum of three years’ experience in IT physical security assessments for government entities. All contractor staff must pass a background check and complete SCO's required training before performing any services.
