California Title III-B Legal Services Provider Network

Background
The California Department of Aging (CDA) administers programs that serve older adults, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, and residents in long-term care facilities throughout the State. These programs are funded through the federal Older Americans Act (OAA), the Older Californians Act (OCA), and various state and federal grants. CDA contracts with Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) to manage services including legal assistance under Title III-B of the OAA. The goal of this contract is to enhance the California Title III-B Legal Services Provider Network.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:

1) Updating, publishing, and distributing a Legal Assistance Policy and Procedures Manual;

2) Creating a 2-Year Quarterly Training Curriculum for Title III-B legal services providers;

3) Developing a Title-III B Legal Services Committee Charter;

4) Drafting 2-Year Quarterly Meeting Agendas for Title III-B legal services providers and Area Agencies on Aging.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of this contract is from March 10, 2025, through September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in California.
