Background
The California Conservation Corps (CCC) is the largest and longest operating conservation corps in the nation, established in 1976. Its mission is to protect and enhance California's natural resources while empowering young adults through hard work and education. The CCC seeks a Contractor to provide two Senior Project Managers to support governance, project planning, execution, and implementation of strategic priorities aligned with five strategic trails: Corps for All, Access for All, Dynamic Paths, Tomorrow's Corps Today, and Better Place to Work.
Work Details
The Contractor will provide two Senior Project Managers (PMs): one PM will manage 'Corps for All' and 'Access for All', while the other PM will manage 'Dynamic Paths', 'Tomorrow’s Corps Today', and 'Better Place to Work'. Responsibilities include managing project services for each strategic trail through full transformation; collaborating with CCC Executive Leadership and stakeholders; ensuring diversity within the Corps movement; delivering access to program benefits; establishing education and training pipelines; preparing for emerging trends in conservation and workforce development; fostering a competitive workplace culture.
Period of Performance
The term of the Agreement is 24 months, anticipated to start on November 1, 2025 or upon DGS approval, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed within California as specified by the California Conservation Corps.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must have a minimum of five years’ experience supporting government agencies with annual budgets of $150 million in project management and governance. Each Senior PM must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI. Proposals must not exceed $600,000 total costs for the 24-month term. Proposers must also comply with Executive Order N-6-22 regarding economic sanctions against Russia.
