Background
The State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking to procure the rental of postage systems. This initiative is part of the DMV's ongoing efforts to maintain operational efficiency across its various locations throughout California. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all postage systems are kept in good working condition, which is essential for the agency's communication and operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental services for postage systems, which includes:
- All labor, tools, materials, equipment (including replacement meters)
- Supervision, travel, shipping and handling costs
- Taxes, delivery, setup and removal of equipment
- Repairs, insurance, and permit fees necessary to maintain the postage systems in good working condition at various DMV locations across California.

Specific tasks outlined in Section III of the RFQ include ensuring that all equipment is operational and compliant with state regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence upon execution of a written contract and must be ready to begin work within ten (10) business days following the award date specified in Section I. The exact duration will be detailed in Section III of the Statement of Work.

The services will be performed at various locations throughout California as specified by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
