Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) C5613261-D for Boiler and Chiller Water Chemistry Maintenance, Analysis, and Repair Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of boiler and chiller water systems at the California Institution for Men (CIM), located in Chino, CA. Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform preventative maintenance, inspection, calibration, analysis, and repair services for boiler and chiller water chemistry equipment. Specific responsibilities include:

- Unlimited repair services on an as-needed basis;

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid 'C-61/D62 Air and Water Balancing' or 'C-4 Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting' California Contractors State License Board specialty license. Additionally, bidders must have a Certified Water Technologist (CWT) certification from the Associate of Water Technologies (AWT). Bidders must also provide proof of at least two years of on-the-job experience maintaining similar equipment through references. The contract requires compliance with a 25% Small Business participation requirement as per Government Code 14838.
