Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking bids for Water, Wastewater Sampling and Analysis Services specifically for Pelican Bay State Prison. Work Details
The Contractor will provide comprehensive Water, Wastewater Sampling and Analysis Services, which include:

1. **Field Services/Sample Collection**: Collecting samples as requested, documenting on chain of custody forms, and transporting samples to a qualified laboratory.

2. **Courier Services/Sample Transport**: Providing shipping materials for transporting samples and potentially offering courier services to ensure timely delivery.

3. **Emergency Services**: Responding to emergency calls 24/7, picking up samples within 12 hours of notification, and providing verbal results within 12 hours of analysis completion.

4. **Analytical Services**: Analyzing samples using specified methods, invoicing for additional tests not listed in the rate sheet at published prices with a 40% discount.

5. **Sampling Supplies**: Providing all necessary sampling supplies including sterile containers, labels, and chain of custody forms.

6. **Service Schedule**: Developing an annual service schedule for routine sampling services.

7. **Deliverable Requirements**: Furnishing analytical results via email within 48 hours post-analysis completion, including detailed reporting as per regulatory standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval and is expected to continue until May 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Pelican Bay State Prison located in California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with California Government Code requirements regarding small business participation (25% minimum). They must also possess all necessary licenses and certifications required by law for the work involved in this agreement.
