Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking tractor/trailer transportation services for the Inmate/Ward Labor Program. The CDCR is required to meet the State’s twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation requirement, and certified SBs and micro-businesses (MB) are encouraged to submit bids.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, licenses, permits, equipment, and transportation necessary for the Tractor/Trailer Transportation Services Inmate/Ward Program at various institutions. The bid package includes several documents such as:

Period of Performance
The IFB is available from June 7, 2024. The submission of bids is due by July 23, 2024, with the anticipated date for commencement of services on August 1, 2024 or upon approval. The term end date of the agreement is June 30, 2027.

The services will be performed at various institutions as specified in Exhibit A-1.
