Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) C5612272-D for the Fire Rated Door and Frame Repairing, Replacing, Relabeling, and Recertifying Service at the California Institution for Men (CIM) located in Chino, CA.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that all fire-rated doors and frames meet safety standards as determined by a Fire Marshall Evaluation. This service is critical to maintaining the safety and security of the institution.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, supplies, transportation, equipment, and any other necessary items to repair, replace, relabel, and recertify deficient fire-rated doors/frames.

Specific services include:
- Fire Door Replacement: 1 unit
- Door Repairs: 20 units
- Frame Repairs: 20 units
- Door Labeling: 19 units
- Door Frame Labeling: 20 units

Estimated total cost for parts is $25,000. The total bid will be calculated as Total A + Total B. All prices must be bid in U.S. currency and encompass every item of expense necessary to perform the services.

Period of Performance
The anticipated date for commencement of services is upon approval of the contract, with an expected term end date of April 16, 2025.
