Addendum 1: C25690010 - Refuse & Recycling Services at Auburn SRA, CA State Parks

Background
The State of California, through the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), is seeking bids for refuse and recycling services at the Auburn State Recreation Area. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper collection, transportation, and disposal of refuse and recycling materials generated at various locations within the park. This initiative supports the agency's mission to maintain clean and sustainable recreational areas for public use.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to lawfully collect, transport, and dispose of refuse and recycling materials. Specific services include:
- Collection of refuse from designated locations within the Auburn State Recreation Area.
- Transportation of collected refuse to appropriate disposal sites.
- Provision of wildlife-proof dumpsters (7-yard and 40-yard) as specified in the bid form.
- Regular pickups scheduled weekly or as needed based on service requirements outlined in the bid documents.
- Additional pickups may be requested as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028, with specific service periods outlined for regular pickups.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Auburn State Recreation Area in California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as a Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to qualify for bidding preferences.
