Background
The California State Parks, Orange Coast District is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Heavy Equipment Rental under Solicitation Number C24925018. The goal of this contract is to provide heavy equipment on an as-needed basis to support the operations of the district.

The agency aims to enhance its capabilities in managing park resources effectively while ensuring compliance with state regulations, including participation requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE).

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to provide the following heavy equipment on an as-needed basis:
- Motor Grader
- Water Truck (single rear axle)
- Skid Steer
- Skid Steer attachments (Box Broom, Jack Hammer or Stinger)
- Excavator (size 135 John Deere)
- Small Dozer with Slope Board (450 John Deere)
- Large Dozer (750 John Deere)
- Genie Lift
- Petty Boom Forklift
- Ditch Witch Trencher
- Other Miscellaneous Equipment.

Each item will be rented for approximately 10 days, with pricing to be determined by bidders. The quantities are approximate and may be adjusted by the State's Representative as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue as needed based on the rental requirements of the Orange Coast District. Specific rental durations will be determined at the time of request but are expected to average around 10 days per item.

Place of Performance
The services under this contract will be performed at various locations within the California State Parks, specifically within the Orange Coast District.
