C24680035 BRANNAN ISLAND STATE RECREATION AREA - Parking Lot Repairs

Background
The Natural Resources Agency of California, specifically the Department of Parks and Recreation, is issuing this solicitation for parking lot repairs at Brannan Island State Recreation Area located in Sacramento County, California.
The goal of this contract is to repair, fog seal, and re-stripe three parking lots to enhance accessibility and safety for visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Repairing existing cracks in the asphalt surface as per Specification Section 321200.
2) Fog sealing the existing asphalt parking lot surface.
3) Re-striping the parking lots which includes constructing 4-inch wide white stripes for vehicle/trailer parking stalls, parallel parking stalls, and centerlines as detailed in the project plans.
Additionally, accessible parking signage must be installed according to specified details.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work.

Place of Performance
Brannan Island State Recreation Area, Sacramento County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with a minimum Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirement of 6%.
Bidders must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and submit various forms including a Public Works Bid Form (DPR 482B), DVBE Notice (DPR 479IP), and Bidder Declaration (GSPD 05-105) as specified in the bid package.
