C23555003 Salton Sea HQ Parking Lot Slurry Seal Project

Background
The State of California, through the Department of Parks and Recreation, is seeking contractors to perform onsite construction-related services for the Salton Sea SRA – HQ Parking Lot Slurry Seal Project. The project involves crack sealing, slurry sealing, and stripe painting a parking area in the Salton Sea SRA parking area. The project is part of the agency's efforts to maintain and improve its recreational facilities.

Work Details
The contractor is required to crack seal 60% of the 70,734 square feet parking area, equivalent to 42,440.40 square feet, as well as perform type II slurry seal and stripe paint according to the plans and specifications provided by the state's representative. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all operations related to pavement crack sealing for cracks ¼” wide or wider. Additionally, road patching if necessary and posting 'no parking' signs at least 48 hours in advance of the work are required.

Period of Performance
The bid is due on or before 2:00 PM on February 27, 2024. The completion of all work is expected within ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work.
