Background
The City of Mountain View, incorporated in 1902, is a full-service charter city located in Santa Clara County, California. The Community Development Department is tasked with ensuring compliance with zoning, building, and fire codes to support a livable community.

This RFQ aims to establish a list of qualified consultants to provide building and fire protection plan check, inspection, and on-call staffing services to support the Building Division.

Work Details
The Scope of Services includes:

1. Plan Check Services: Performing building and/or fire protection plan checks for compliance with Title 24 Building Standards Codes and local amendments, including various systems such as plumbing, electrical, fire alarms, and accessibility.

2. Inspection Services: Providing on-call inspection staff certified to conduct inspections per Title 24 and local codes for residential and nonresidential buildings.

3. Other On-Call Services: Temporary staffing for administration, permit review, plan checking, and inspections related to municipal building division operations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a duration based on the City’s requirements.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at Mountain View City Hall or remotely from the contractor's office.
