Bendix King Digital Dash Mount Radios & Accessories

Work Requested:
The County of Kern is seeking bids from vendors to provide and deliver Bendix King dash mount radios and accessories for the Kern County Fire Department. The products must be delivered to Bakersfield, CA. Please note that a new Quotation Request has been uploaded as of 4/13/26, featuring updated item numbers and quantities. All bids must be submitted using this revised form.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by the County of Kern for the Kern County Fire Department.

Background:
This Invitation to Bid is in accordance with Quotation Request no. PR2600140. The County aims to select a vendor that can meet the department's needs and provide the best value.

Contract Requirements:

• Bids must be submitted using the attached and updated Quotation Request form. Submissions in any other format will not be accepted.
• Responses that include additional vendor terms and conditions, or exceptions to the stated terms and conditions, may be rejected.
• Submission of a bid response constitutes acceptance of all bid documents and terms and conditions.
• Vendors interested in local vendor preference must review the attached Local Vendor Worksheet and submit a completed, signed form with their bid response for consideration.

Instructions on Submission:

• Bid responses can be delivered electronically via the Public Purchase website, by mail, or in-person delivery. Emailed bids will not be accepted.
• Vendor questions should be submitted in writing to peakera@kerncounty.com. The final day to submit questions is Friday, 4/14/26, by 5:00 PM.
• The bid due date has been extended to Friday, 4/17/26. Please ensure your submission uses the revised Quotation Request form uploaded on 4/13/26.

Additional Information:
The County will award the contract to the vendor whose bid, in the County's sole discretion, substantially conforms to the requirements and provides the best value to the department.
