Background
The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) is seeking to establish a Bench List of qualified independent contractors for Information Technology (IT) services. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of LADBS operations by providing specialized IT support that supplements existing resources. The goal is to facilitate rapid responses to short-term IT service needs through a pre-qualified list of contractors, thereby improving compliance with various building and safety codes.
Work Details
Contractors will provide outcome-based services in several categories:
1) System Development, Implementation, and Programming;
2) Database Management and Optimization;
3) Systems Analysis and Integration;
4) GIS Data and Document Capture, Conversion, and Loading;
5) General IT Consulting Services;
6) Project Management Services.
Specific tasks include developing applications for permitting systems, database administration, data migration, GIS data conversion, IT consulting, and project management coordination.
Period of Performance
The contract duration is up to three years from the effective date of the contract. Task Orders issued under this agreement will typically not exceed 12 months unless specified otherwise for ongoing projects.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of Los Angeles as required by specific Task Orders.
Bidder Requirements
