Beeman Park Revitalization

Background
The Cosumnes Community Services District, located in Sacramento County, California, is seeking bids for the revitalization of Beeman Park in Elk Grove, CA. The goal of this project is to renovate an existing park to enhance its amenities and overall functionality for community use.

Work Details
The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services necessary for the renovation of Beeman Park. This includes:

- Clearing
- Grubbing
- Demolition
- Removal of existing equipment
- Grading
- Storm drainage modifications
- Irrigation and potable water modifications
- Planting
- Electrical work

Additionally, the scope includes installation of concrete flatwork, curbs, decomposed granite, site furnishings (including a shade structure), play equipment, fitness equipment, lighting, and other appurtenances as required for a complete project.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will continue until the completion of the project as outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Beeman Park located in Elk Grove, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California contractor’s license with classifications A or C-27. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. The successful bidder will also need to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond for not less than 100% of the contract price.
