Background
The San Bernardino County Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. SHR126-ADMSR-6188 for the procurement of Automatic License Plate Recognition Technology Trailers.
The purpose of this contract is to enhance law enforcement capabilities through advanced technology that supports public safety and crime prevention efforts.
Work Details
The contract involves the provision of two (2) Automatic License Plate Recognition Technology Trailers, which include:
1. Each ALPR system with up to 4 cameras.
2. Standard hardware warranty and extended hardware warranty.
3. Software licenses.
4. Technology trailer equipped with mounts for up to 4 cameras, a 750-Watt solar array cabinet, a solar cabinet capable of rotating 355 degrees, a 400Ah sealed lithium battery with heater (upgradable to two lithium batteries), a 60-Amp solar controller, a remote management module, a 40-foot AC cord with reel, a 4G LTE router (excluding SIM card and data plan pricing), four adjustable jacks, a removable tongue, a 5-in-1 antenna, and locking equipment lids.
Optional items include radar, collapsible mast, second lithium battery, and on-board portable generator.
The trailer must meet specific configuration features including being towable by standard vehicles, easily deployable by one person, having single axle cantilever suspension, full-sized automotive tires, and various safety features.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the issuance of the County’s Purchase Order and will continue until the delivery of the trailers is completed as specified in the contract terms.
Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the Sheriff’s Automotive Division located at 655 East Third Street, San Bernardino, CA 92415.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must certify their business representation regarding local presence within San Bernardino County and disclose any previous contracts with the County related to this project.
They must also be registered in good standing with the California Secretary of State and not be debarred or suspended from federal or state contracts. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with California Revenue and Taxation Code section 18662 regarding tax obligations.
