Background
The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Department, on behalf of the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide an Artificial Intelligence (AI)–powered scheduling solution. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency across DPSS service areas, specifically supporting the scheduling and rescheduling of appointments for both the Adult Services Division (ASD) and the Children and Family Services (CFS).
The goal is to modernize scheduling capabilities by leveraging AI technologies to improve appointment coordination, streamline staff assignments, and support consistent service delivery.
Work Details
The selected vendor will implement an AI-powered scheduling system that automates scheduling tasks to reduce administrative workload, improve timeliness, and deliver consistent service. Key features include:
- Proactive scheduling
- Automated reminders
- Text-based communication with worker details
- Simple rescheduling options
- Zip code-based routing
- Geo-tracking
- App-based check-ins for enhanced travel efficiency
- Oversight strengthening
- Worker safety support.
The system must be user-friendly, secure, scalable, and capable of supporting long-term deployment across all DPSS divisions.
Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for the agreement resulting from this RFP is from the date of signature through June 30, 2027. There is an option to renew for up to three additional years in one-year increments based on mutually acceptable services and cost adjustments.
