Armored Car Pickup and Delivery Services

Background
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is releasing Invitation for Bid (IFB) NO. 2024-4002 entitled Armored car pickup and delivery services. The purpose and description of services include providing as needed, on-call armored car pickup and delivery services specified in the contract. The proposed term for the contract is from July 1, 2024, or upon DGS approval, through June 30, 2027.

Work Details
The successful bidder is required to provide armored car pickup and delivery services between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday to Friday, excluding State Holidays. The services shall be performed on an as-needed basis unless specified otherwise.
The contractor must possess a valid Motor Carrier Permit issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in good standing throughout the term of the Agreement. Additionally, the contractor must maintain a valid Armored Car Non-Transferable License issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in good standing throughout the term of the Agreement.

Period of Performance
The proposed term for the contract is from July 1, 2024, or upon DGS approval, through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various CDTFA office locations including Santa Rosa, Oakland, Glendale, Cerritos, Irvine, San Diego, Fresno, Redding, and Humboldt County Courthouse.
