Application Control and Endpoint Security Software Solution

Background
The Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) is a local public entity of the State of California, serving as a rapidly growing Medi-Cal and IEHP DualChoice health plan. Established in 1996, IEHP's mission is to 'heal and inspire the human spirit.' With over 1.4 million members across Riverside and San Bernardino counties, IEHP aims to strengthen its security posture through this Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Application Control and Endpoint Security Software Solution.

Work Details
The awarded vendor will be responsible for providing an Application Identification and Access Control Solution that includes:

- Enforcing deny-by-default application execution policies
- Automating discovery and profiling of applications
- Providing monthly scanning and reporting of application inventory
- Detecting unauthorized plug-ins across various platforms (browsers, IDEs, Kubernetes)
- Enabling granular control over applications
- Centralized policy management with real-time updates
- Integration with existing security tools (Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint)
- Compliance with HIPAA and NIST standards
- Ensuring minimal disruption to end users.

The solution must support a diverse IT asset inventory including 5,000 Windows 10 endpoints, 700 Windows servers, 130 Linux machines, and various mobile devices.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is one year from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at IEHP's location in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate their ability to provide the required services independently for the entire term of the agreement. They must also submit evidence of required insurance coverage and possess all necessary licenses. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with federal and state healthcare program eligibility requirements.
