Animal Care Disaster Evacuation and Transport Vehicle

Background
The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health is seeking bids for the procurement of a medium to heavy-duty enclosed vehicle designed for the transportation and evacuation of animals during emergency events. Work Details
The contractor will provide a vehicle that includes:
- A back-up camera
- A minimum of 35 built-in kennels suitable for dogs and cats of all sizes
- A small workspace for staff (including a desk, stool, and electrical outlet)
- An awning
- Electricity
- HVAC units in the area designated for animal transport.

The vendor is also responsible for installing a vehicle wrap, with graphics provided by the Department of Public Health. Delivery must occur within eight months after receipt of deposit.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period that includes delivery within eight months following the acceptance of the vehicle.

Bidder Requirements
