Background
The Long Beach Utilities Department (LBUD) is seeking proposals from consultants to conduct a Risk and Resiliency Assessment (RRA) and to update its existing Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in compliance with the requirements of America's Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) of 2018.
The AWIA mandates utilities to perform an RRA of their community water systems and develop a corresponding ERP, which must be updated at least once every five years. Work Details
The Consultant will perform three main tasks:

The contract period will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed, with specific deadlines for deliverables including a final draft of the RRA due at least two weeks prior to the USEPA certification deadline of March 31, 2025.
