Background
The City of Santa Monica Airport is seeking bids from authorized BRIVO vendors to service and repair the airport's security gates and Access Control System. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all city-owned gates and BRIVO-related equipment are maintained in optimal working condition, which is critical for airport operations, especially in emergencies.
Work Details
The vendor will provide all labor, parts, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for maintenance, repair, and service on an as-needed and preventive basis. Specific tasks include:
1. System Support and Services: Maintenance and repair of 14 CS BRIVO 5000WG/6000WG Control Panels, Chamberlain LiftMaster/Sentex CPWR Wiegand Receivers, HID 5XXXX Series Readers and Keypads.
2. Access Control System Maintenance: Quarterly monitoring and preventive maintenance services including system testing, modifications, upgrades, new installations, and supply of necessary components.
3. Personnel Requirements: Assign qualified personnel with experience operating FARGO printers.
4. Job Quoting and Documentation: Provide individual job quotes upon request; submit signed service reports detailing work performed and recommendations for further repairs.
5. Emergency Response: Must provide 24/7 emergency service availability with a response time within two hours of notification.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for an initial term with options for four additional one-year renewals.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Santa Monica Airport.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized BRIVO dealers/service providers with a valid C10 Electrical California contractor’s license. They must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and maintain administration-level clearance on BRIVO systems.
