Addendum #2 - IFB #24C480006 Visalia Area Office Security Camera and Closed-Circuit Television Installation Service

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 24C480006 for the purpose of obtaining services related to the replacement and installation of security cameras and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems at the CHP Visalia Area Office.

The CHP's mission is to enhance public safety through effective law enforcement and community engagement. This contract aims to improve surveillance capabilities at their facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services required for the replacement and installation of security camera systems and CCTV at the CHP Visalia Area Office. This includes:
- Assessment of current security infrastructure
- Installation of new security cameras
- Integration of CCTV systems with existing monitoring systems
- Testing and verification of system functionality
- Training CHP personnel on system operation.

The detailed scope of work is outlined in Exhibit A included in the IFB.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the CHP Visalia Area Office located at 5025 West Noble Avenue, Visalia, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific qualifications including:
1. Possession of a valid Contractor State License Board (CSLB) C-7 or C-10 license.
2. Registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as per California Labor Code requirements.
3. Compliance with Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirements, with a minimum participation rate of 5%.
4. Proof of liability insurance as specified in Exhibit E. Additionally, bidders must not be expatriate corporations as defined under California Public Contract Code.
