Adams and Andersen Elementary School Field Turf Restoration Project

Background
The Newport-Mesa Unified School District is seeking bids for the Adams and Andersen Elementary School Field Turf Restoration Project. The project aims to repair and restore the fields at both elementary schools to ensure safe and usable outdoor spaces for students. The district's mission includes providing quality education and facilities that support student learning and well-being.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1) Hollow tine aeration to a depth of 4-5 inches;
2) Verti-cutting and dethatching the entire field area;
3) Scalping the turf to a maximum height of 1/2 inch.

The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and any other items necessary to complete the project.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Adams Elementary School and Andersen Elementary School located in Newport Beach, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed contractors in accordance with California law. They must provide proof of registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for public works projects. Additionally, bidders are required to submit various certifications including:
