Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), Technical Services Division, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Architectural and Design firms to establish retainer agreements for Professional Architectural and Design Services. This initiative aims to support CAL FIRE's infrastructure projects in the Northern Region, which encompasses multiple counties in California.

The contracts will be awarded on a fixed rate basis for a maximum of five years, with a total potential value of $1,500,000.00. The State does not guarantee any specific number or dollar amount of Task Orders under these agreements.

Work Details
Contractors will provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to deliver Professional Architectural and Design Services for CAL FIRE’s infrastructure projects. Task Orders will be issued for specific projects as needed.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
1. Providing architectural design services tailored to CAL FIRE's infrastructure needs.
2. Preparing detailed project plans and specifications.
3. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
4. Collaborating with CAL FIRE personnel to meet project objectives.
5. Delivering services under the terms outlined in Exhibit A, Scope of Work.

Period of Performance
The contract period will extend up to five years from the date of award, with Task Orders issued on an as-needed basis during this timeframe.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various CAL FIRE facilities located in the Northern Region of California, including counties such as Del Norte, Siskiyou, Modoc, Humboldt, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Butte, Glenn, Mendocino, Lake, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba,
Sierra Nevada,
Placer,
Napa,
Sonoma,
Marin,
Solano,
Contra Costa,
San Francisco,
San Mateo,
Alameda,
Santa Cruz,
Santa Clara,
San Joaquin,
and Stanislaus.
