7CA06802 Grease Trap Service

Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing this contract to provide kitchen grease trap pumping and disposal services. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper waste management in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, thereby supporting CAL FIRE's mission to protect California's natural resources.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees for the following services:

1. Suctioning out kitchen grease traps and disposing of waste according to regulations.

2. Service for two (2) 2,000-gallon tanks at the same location with a maximum waste amount of 4,000 gallons per service. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis with a maximum of six (6) services per calendar year.

3. Provision of a suitable waste tank for used fryer oil with suctioning services not exceeding four (4) times per calendar year.

4. The contractor must hold a valid waste hauler permit and dispose of waste at an approved facility. All appropriate permits, licenses, and insurance must remain active throughout the agreement term.

Period of Performance
The contract is estimated to commence on October 1, 2024, or upon approval by CAL FIRE, whichever is later. The agreement shall expire on September 30, 2027.

Services will be performed at 4501 Highway 104, Ione, CA 95640.
