Description

**Only Small Businesses certified by the State of CA shall submit a bid** Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Modular Building Fire Alarm Installation, as described herein: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide Fire Alarm Monitoring equipment and services.
Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing a contracting opportunity for Modular Building Fire Alarm Installation Services. This contract aims to enhance fire safety measures at three CAL FIRE locations in California. Only Small Businesses certified by the State of California are eligible to submit bids for this project.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary for the installation of Fire Alarm Monitoring equipment and services. The specific locations for service include:

1) Toro Fire Center - 1575 Sutter Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405;
2) Hollister Air Attack Base - 2300 San Felipe Road, Hollister, CA 95204;
3) Stockton Delta Fire Center - 7000 Newcastle Road, Stockton, CA 95215.

The contractor must also obtain necessary permits from the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) and provide complete fire alarm plans and calculations for approval prior to installation. A one-year warranty on parts and labor for the installed systems is required.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on April 1, 2025, or upon approval by the California Department of General Services (DGS), whichever is later. The agreement will expire on March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three locations in California: Toro Fire Center in San Luis Obispo, Hollister Air Attack Base in Hollister, and Stockton Delta Fire Center in Stockton.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as Small Businesses by the State of California. They are required to submit various forms including:

- Rate Sheet
- Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet
- Darfur Contracting Act form (CAL FIRE-720)
- Payee Data Information form (STD 204)
- Contractor Certification Clauses form (CCC 04/2017)
- Bidder Declaration Form (GSPD-05-105)
- Proof of valid registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
- Proof of a valid C-16 – Fire Protection license issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).

Additionally, if applicable, bidders must comply with DVBE participation requirements.
