The Tomales Petaluma Rd MP 3.80 Tree Removal Project is initiated by the Marin County Department of Public Works. The project aims to enhance road safety and environmental conditions by removing several large diameter Monterey Cypress and Blue Gum Eucalyptus trees, along with deadwood removal and site restoration.
This project is located near milepost 3.8 on Tomales Petaluma Road, where the trees pose a risk due to their proximity to the roadway.

1. Mobilization, Traffic Control Systems, and Construction Signs (1 LS)
2. Clearing and Grubbing (1 LS)
3. Tree Removal (10 Trees) (1 LS)
4. Tree Pruning (7 Trees) (1 LS)

The Engineer's estimate for the total project cost is $120,000.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within fifteen (15) working days from the commencement date, which will be determined upon contract award notification.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a C-49 license, and either they or their subcontractor must hold an A or C-31 license at the time of bid submission.
All bidders and subcontractors are required to be registered as public works contractors with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1725.5.
