The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking contractors to provide Potable Water and Wastewater Quality Testing Services for its Shasta Trinity Unit (STU) Fire Stations and Conservation Camps. Work Details

2. Testing for Nitrate/Nitrite levels.
3. Testing for regulated VOCs including Methyl-tert-butyl-ether (MTBE) and Dibromocholoromethane.
4. Coliform testing including Presence/Absence Bac-T.
5. Wastewater testing including Oil and Grease.
6. Lead and Copper testing at specified sites annually.
7. The contractor must also provide all necessary supplies such as sample bottles and labels.
Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on June 30, 2026 (estimate) and will expire on June 29, 2029 (estimate). Services will be provided during normal working hours from Monday through Friday.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations including:
- Buckhorn Fire Station
- Ono Fire Station
- Diddy Wells Fire Station
- Shingletown Fire Station
- Fawn Lodge Fire Station
- Hillcrest Fire Station
- Sugar Pine Conservation Camp
- Trinity River Conservation Camp
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as a California Small Business. They are required to submit several documents including a Rate Sheet and Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet (GSPD-05-105). Additionally, they must provide Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) Certification issued by the California State Resources Control Board among others. Bidders must not be targets of Economic Sanctions as per Executive Order N-6-22.
