25YS0036 - Rethermalization Meal Delivery System Services

Background
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking qualified vendors to provide Rethermalization Meal Delivery System Services at the Veterans Home of California-Yountville. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Rethermalization Meal Delivery System is maintained and repaired to comply with food safety regulations, thereby improving meal satisfaction for residents.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, staff, transportation, licenses, permits, and any other necessary items to deliver preventive maintenance and repair services for the Rethermalization Meal Delivery System. This includes ensuring the system functions at an optimum level and complies with food safety regulations. Services will be provided upon request and in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 1, 2026, or upon approval, and will end on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Veterans Home of California-Yountville located at 190 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599.

Bidder Requirements
While a Disabled Veteran Enterprise (DVBE) goal is not required for this IFB, participation is encouraged. Bidders must comply with all instructions and requirements contained in the solicitation. The awarded contractor must pay prevailing wages as per the agreement terms.
