25YS0008 - High Voltage Electrician Testing and Repair Services

Background
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking qualified vendors to provide High Voltage Electrician Testing and Repair Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and repair of electrical systems at the Veterans Home of California-Yountville and the Rector Reservoir Water Treatment Plant, thereby supporting CalVet's mission to serve veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, staff, transportation, licenses, permits, and any other necessary items to perform electrician services at the Veterans Home of California-Yountville (190 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599) and at Rector Reservoir Water Treatment Plant (7300 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94558).

Services must be coordinated with the CalVet Contract Manager and performed during standard business hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). The contractor must ensure that all work complies with federal and state laws as well as CalVet policies. Specific equipment involved includes main sub-station equipment such as GE Power VAC Breakers and protective relays. All electricians must be qualified and provide proof of experience and training.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Veterans Home of California-Yountville located at 190 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599 and at Rector Reservoir Water Treatment Plant located at 7300 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94558.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet a minimum DVBE participation goal of 5%. They are required to submit documentation proving compliance with DVBE requirements. Additionally, bidders must have all necessary licenses and certifications for performing high voltage electrician services.
