Background
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking quotes from certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) for kitchen hood, dryer duct, and vent cleaning services. Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive cleaning services for kitchen hoods, dryer ducts, and vents at the Veterans Home located in Chula Vista, CA. The scope includes:

- Cleaning three (3) kitchen exhaust hoods, including component grease traps and ductwork in the main kitchen.
- Cleaning five (5) exhaust roof fans.
- Cleaning seventeen (17) dryer ducts and vents on a semi-annual basis.

All work must be performed during specified hours: dryer duct and vent cleaning from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays; kitchen hood cleaning after 8:00 PM on weekdays. No work is allowed on weekends or state holidays without prior written approval.

The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, staff, transportation, licenses, and permits required for the services.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on July 1, 2025, or upon approval, whichever is later, and will continue through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the California Veterans Home located at 700 East Naples Court, Chula Vista CA 91911.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) by the Department of General Services. They must submit a complete quote including required documents such as a Quote Rate Sheet, Payee Data Record (STD 204), Contractor Certification Clauses (CCC-04/2017), and other specified certifications. Additionally, all service technicians must be factory-trained on the equipment specified in this agreement.
