Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for HVAC Replacement Services at the CHP Riverside Area Office. The goal of this contract is to replace existing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with current standards. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services to complete the HVAC replacement as detailed in Exhibit A entitled 'Scope of Work'. This includes the removal of existing HVAC units, installation of new units, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, and conducting necessary testing and inspections post-installation.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2026. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the CHP Riverside Area Office located at 8118 Lincoln Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Contractor State License Board (CSLB) C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Contractor License. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1. Bidders are required to meet a minimum Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirement of 5%. All bidders must certify their willingness to comply with all terms outlined in the IFB.
