Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for HVAC Replacement Services at the CHP Riverside Area Office. This solicitation aims to address the need for efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to support the agency's operations in line with its mission to ensure safety and service.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HVAC replacement services as outlined in Exhibit A. This includes the removal of existing HVAC units, installation of new units, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. The work must meet the specifications detailed in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 25C840002.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2026. This timeframe may be adjusted based on award timing or unforeseen delays.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the CHP Riverside Area Office located at 8118 Lincoln Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Contractor State License Board (CSLB) C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Contractor License. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773, and 1773.1. A minimum of 5% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation is required. Bidders must also comply with all insurance requirements as specified in Exhibit E.
