25-30539-000 - Chiller Preventative Maintenance and Repair for 30 Building

Background
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) number 25-30539-000 for Chiller Preventative Maintenance and Repair for 30 Building at the DSH-Patton facility, a forensic psychiatric hospital located in Patton, CA. The DSH provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of chillers to support the hospital's operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, prevailing wages, insurance, bonds, and personnel to deliver Chiller Preventative Maintenance and Repair services. This includes performing full preventative maintenance and repair services specifically for McQuay Chillers.

The contractor's personnel must have a minimum of five years of experience in this field. Additionally, the contractor must possess an Environmental Protection Agency Technician Certification (608 Universal) and a current Contractors State License (C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and Air Cooling). All work must comply with public works requirements as defined by Labor Code 1720.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the agreement is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027. Performance must commence on or before the specified date set by the awarding agency after all approvals are obtained.

The contract will be performed at the Department of State Hospitals - Patton located at 3102 E. Highland Avenue, Patton, CA 92369.
