Background
The State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) is responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating state buildings and grounds statewide. This contract aims to procure drapery cleaning services for state property to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of facilities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required for the cleaning of two (2) panels of sheer drapery located in the cafeteria windows of Building #418. The work includes:

- Conducting a visual inspection of the drapery panels and track hardware.
- Setting up protective coverings.
- Performing a two-step dry cleaning process on both sides using fabric-safe cleaning agents.
- Utilizing an industrial extractor to remove dust.
- Ensuring cleaning methods preserve fabric integrity.
- Cleaning and lubricating track hardware.
- Replacing any missing or damaged hooks or fasteners.
- Supplying necessary lifts for elevated installations.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conducting a final inspection with the FMD Contract Administrator.

The Contractor is also responsible for miscellaneous materials such as brushes and towels at no additional charge.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term for this Agreement is 12 months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Edmund G. ‘Pat’ Brown CPUC, 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California 94102.

Bidder Requirements
Contractor must maintain all required licenses throughout the contract term. Subcontracting is not allowed on this contract. The Contractor must comply with Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirements.
