The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking to contract for after-hours janitorial services at the Pleasanton DMV Field Office. Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform after-hours janitorial services at the Pleasanton DMV Field Office located at 6300 W. Las Positas Blvd., Pleasanton, CA 94588. Services include:
1. General cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining a weekly maintenance log.
2. Specific tasks include cleaning high-touch surfaces like doorknobs and light switches, disinfecting restrooms and break areas, and ensuring all areas are cleaned before DMV business hours.
3. Detailed schedules for weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual tasks must be submitted within three days of commencing work.
4. Special Maintenance Areas will require cleaning two times per week.
5. The contractor must ensure that all cleaning products used are appropriate for the surfaces being cleaned and follow safety guidelines.
Period of Performance
The anticipated term for this contract is from February 1, 2026 or upon contract approval through January 31, 2029.
