25-158 Property Sweeping and Pressure Washing Services at the San Bernardino DMV Field Office

Background
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is issuing a Small Business Bid Solicitation (SB Bid) for property sweeping and pressure washing services at the San Bernardino DMV Field Office. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and safety at the DMV facility, which serves the public.

The current contractor is GI Services LLC, with a contract term from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025, totaling $176,040.00.

Work Details
The contractor will provide property sweeping and pressure washing services at the San Bernardino DMV Field Office located at 1310 North Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92315. The scope includes:

1. Property Sweeping: Conducted five times per week during non-DMV business hours using truck-mounted equipment on all paved surfaces accessible to motor vehicles including parking lots, driveways, skills test areas, and gated vehicle enclosure areas.

2. Pressure Washing: Performed five times per week on paved surfaces and monthly for building and garbage/waste enclosure areas during non-business hours. Specific tasks include:
- Removing oil spills using environmentally safe absorbents.
- Manually picking up trash in areas where mechanical equipment cannot be used.
- Hauling away all trash and debris offsite.
- Providing proof of service after each task completion.

Period of Performance
The new contract term is proposed to commence on January 1, 2026, and will last for thirty-six (36) months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the San Bernardino DMV Field Office located at 1310 North Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92315.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified by the State of California's Department of General Services as a Certified Small Business. Additionally, bidders must not be targets of Economic Sanctions as defined by state law.
