25-131 Janitorial services at the Mount Shasta DMV Field Office

Background
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids for janitorial services at the Mount Shasta DMV Field Office. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, which is essential for providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

This contract will last for a term of 36 months, with an estimated cost of $84,960.00.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform after-hours janitorial services at the Mount Shasta DMV field office located at 154 Morgan Way, Mount Shasta, CA 96067. Services include but are not limited to:
- General cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets and mopping floors with appropriate cleaners.
- Disinfecting high-touch surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches).
- Thoroughly cleaning restrooms including fixtures and floors.
- Maintaining a weekly maintenance log of services performed.

All tasks must be completed no later than one hour before DMV business hours. The contractor must also manage special maintenance areas twice a week and ensure that all cleaning supplies used are approved by the DMV.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set for 36 months starting from December 1, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
